Fodor: Ghost Hunter Extraordinaire, Part 1

Welcome to the OG Scully – Nandor Fodor – an Eastern European ghost hunter and prolific author, who practiced his investigations during the heyday of Spiritualism, while debunking mediums and faux seances right and left. However he did specialize in one thing in particular: poltergeists.

Show Notes

In Part One of this two parter, we discuss Fodor’s beginnings, what got him into paranormal investigation, how he bumped elbows with Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and how he deciphered who was phony and who was legit in the Spiritualist realm. Featuring the poltergeist Gef the Mongoose!
